Hi Ben, question for you about elite mileage bonus. When booking a partner ticket with cash and crediting miles to Alaska, does an Alaska elite earn their elite bonus on top of the numbers in the chart? So a 75K makes an extra 125% even on partner cash fares? If so, that greatly increases the attractiveness of this offer!

As an Alaska MVP Gold, I've flown JAL twice in the last 12 months.
JAL does NOT credit you miles flown to your Alaska account. A complaint to JAL was brushed aside with a "not our problem " response.
Colleagues report the same issue with other rewards programs and JAL.
