Capital One Venture X Priority Pass Membership: How It Works

I have the business card and can access restaurants.

I have used my Priority pass membership to access the Priority Pass lounges, and restaurant at DFW. At DFW, 2 lounges and 1 restaurant in the program. Not a good experience. Where are the good PP lounges and restaurants?

Not sure why you are sticking with only with 2 guests allowed with VX priority pass when it’s clearly not the case.

What's funny is the spa in front of the C1 lounge @dfw doesn't allow the PP from VX but would take the one from the CSR. I go there after I check in for the line to go up to the lounge for the free 30 minutes massage chair session. Decent way to wait. Finally carrying all the various PP physical cards in my bag paid off!

Plaza premium can no longer be accessed via the VX card directly but can still be accessed via the PP membership right?

My understanding is the VX still gives direct access to all the plaza premium lounges, but they're *also* now accessible through priority pass. But there could be times that plaza premium lounges don't accept Priority pass due to expected numbers of people but they'll still accept the capital one lounge card. I haven't tried it.

Abroad. Priority pass sucks in the US but is pretty good at secondary european airports and usually great in Asia.

I knew that Chase had cut the benefit earlier this year but hadn't seen this news. I got my card in February and it's a Mastercard. For now I still have access.

Can I gift a priority pass to someone from Canada?
Also, is it okay to use my phone number for gifting the passes to friends?

Yes, but the general assumption is they will cut it at some point. It's very confusing, for both cardholders and PP vendors.

I was confused by that as well. I’ve had the card for a couple of years and nearly always use 3 guests (as we are a party of four) and have never been charged. I was told the amount of guests were unlimited for Priority Pass. Is that no longer the case?

Yes until you get switched to a visa card current MC cap one biz cards still gets you PP restaurants.

Off topic but does C1 V Venture X covers travel protection? Can anyone provide details? I did not look into it. Thanks
