I've had the Venture X for 1.5 years now, and I'm not thrilled with the value of the points. I understand why you'd value them equally, but compared to Chase, Citi, and Amex, it seems there are fewer transfer bonuses. Transfer bonuses have significantly boosted my return on investment with points, and it feels like Capital One hasn't been as lucrative for that reason. It's hard to quantify, since historical transfer deals don't predict future ones, but it feels like it's the case.
It's a real bummer, too, because my main reason for Capital One was to get Turkish Miles, and they devalued the 45k NA to Europe 2 awards a month before I earned my signup bonus.
