Interesting that Aer Lingus would compete directly with Ethiopian Airlines on this route, who was just recently granted fifth freedom rights. I wish them luck!
The Governor here confirmed the Hartford to Dublin route, but he's an idiot, so who knows.

Why do you refer to San Francisco 3 times? Was there that much San Francisco growth in 2014 and 2015?
The Hartford route will be useful to me. But too bad that it is just over 3,000 miles and therefore for Avios than BOS.
Glad to see TATL service come back to BDL but this is a surprise to me. NW did a great job with BDL-AMS service that could feed into KLM's network, but is there enough to support connecting in Dublin to another European city (vs driving to BOS/JFK and going nonstop)
Pre clearance is a huge thing when arriving in the US.

Only inconvenient if trying to connect from elsewhere on the O/B from DUB as too early for same day.
Fingers crossed they add a Denver flight! Though, once IAG acquires them I'm sure they'll add their horrendous charges and fees.
To clarify @Lucky Aer Lingus previously operated the route before the restructuring of the airline began. The flight was operated up to around 2010 or so and then cut. Personally I got the chance to fly the LAX-DUB DUB-LAX flights in 2008 before they cut the route. The current plan seems a bit strange because from what I recall the earlier flight arrived into LAX around noon and departed around 4 or 5 that evening. I am curious to see what they will do to get people to fly them. I do see some hope in the route due to the popularity of Ireland.
