Friend of mine applied last weekend, and was not told of his offer amount until AFTER the hard pull. His offer was 80,000, he laughed and said nope.

At a couple of places I have read the exact same feedback. After the hard pull all you are offered is 80K. Which is very disingenuous of Amex.

I still have fond memories of the Resy offers of a few years ago. 125k plus 10x on $25k of spending at Shop Small (or whatever it's called) and dining. My wife and I each snagged 375k. All bona fide spending.
