Is there an issue with Qatar (not) showing B6 availablity at the moment? Or am I just unlucky?

I was gonna transfer my 225,000 Amex points to Hawaiian then over to Alaska before the end of the month when it closes but I might do this instead. Thanks for the heads up.

There’s also a bonus for Hilton Honors. 1,000=2,500 points instead of the usual 1,000=2,000 points.

Even with the transfer bonus, Avios redemptions for AA flights are worse than those with Alaska, aren’t they? And they are ridiculous with surcharges on AA to Europe.

British Air Avios aren't as lucrative as they used to be. I would value them closer to 1cpp than 2cpp.

Yes but I wasn’t planning to use my points for AA flights. Looking to use them for Qatar.

Yes. Finnair is awesome and can transfer Avios freely between BA and Finnair so yes

Iberia had a stealth devaluation around 2 weeks. No one on any blog has reported it yet but my MIA-MAD in business went from 42.5 to 50.5K. They have also changed their distance award charts. The devaluation was not terrible but still worth noting.

Choices..... choices:

Hmm Transfer Amex into Avios for the 30% bonus or Transfer Amex into Hawaiian for the AS strategy. Decisions!

Perhaps split the pile and do both.

Wait, Did Amex and Iberia actually fix inability to transfer MR to Iberia issue? I.e. If you have a 9 digit or longer iberia number you can’t transfer MR points.

Well if you keep them with BA, sure, but there's no way you can say 1cpp for Finnair with the awesome JAL redemptions etc.

Finnair Avios is up there in my top 3 currencies now.

Access to flights is the challenge, QR has better access to their own flights than going through AA. It all depends on how flexible you can be.

Any one having issues on your authenticator not staying connected with British Airways Executive Club for 2FA? I am locked out of my account essentially, and can't imagine their call center being helpful on this matter. Thoughts?
