Its been a little unclear to me - is HHonors still a BMI partner? When must we stop crediting HHonors double dips to BMI?
I'm guessing the safest/easiest thing to do is just start using another partner immediately.
@troy , just credited my two stays at Hilton this week to BMI. I'm switching now.
We will miss diamond club,their value & customer service far better than incompetent executive club.
Does anyone else think it's unusual that the letter was signed with hugs and/or kisses?
Wonder if that's a British thing because I can't remember the last time I received an official email from a US airline closed with XOXO.
It's a tradition from the BMI Diamond Club forum where one of the members added Hugs and Kisses onto the end of every BMI email
It's a fun little tradition for a very odd little airline.
(saying that, the loyalty staff at Donnington Hall were a true bunch of Diamonds).
If we still have a BA household account, is the only way to transfer miles to delink that household account, does anyone know?

for anyone trying to change BMI-Avios (via British airways exec card) you can only do it on a computer , I have never been able to do it on the link on BA on a Tablet (ipad) works perfectly through the link on the exec club .
the BA website (once you are logged in to Exec Club account) allows you to 'combine avios' so you get a new page and click 'diamond club' in the menu and then fill in DC number and pin and then you transfer the whole lot to BA miles - last chance is 30 October. It's worth noting that the MBNA BMI credit card will continue to work as a card, but the benefits in terms of miles have already ceased. I just switched to Lufthansa Miles and More from MBMA with a 1500 miles welcome bonus.
