To be honest I don’t usually take advantage of the American Express ”sync” promotions, mainly because I’m not really confident enough in my technological abilities to do so.

deodorants DO expire... check the bottom for expiration date. but no worries. you can always sell your excess supply in hotel lounges.

While I often use TripAdvisor for researching my travel plans, this promotion makes me fearful that they are not thinking through their marketing plan to increase review posts QUANTITY vs. QUALITY.

Review websites need appropriate incentives to increase QUALITY review posts, and this is not it, IMO.

Deodorant has an expiration date. That does not, however, mean that its effectiveness expires on that date. Like most medications, deodorant is perfectly fine for years after the expiration date. The stuff I have on now has an expiration date of more than a year ago, and I don't stink. 😉

Will you be fresh or active scented? Or will it depend on the day? 😉

@lucky: I dug into the offer a little more, it looks like Amex will be using this as another platform for "Sync" offers: http://thepointsninja.blogspot.com/2013/10/american-express-and-tripadvisor.html
$50 statement credit for $250 Amex Travel purchase shows up on my "Get Offers" page.

Ben..I'm surprised you don't like the Nivea brand deodorant...they are all over Germany, and they smell great! No harsh ingredients either.
