How is she considered the world's most powerful flight attendant? She has absolutely no involvement with airlines outside the US. Or is this the MAGA concept that 95.6 percent of the world's population who are not US Americans are unimportant?
@ Icarus -- I'm curious, is there any particular flight attendant figure outside the United States who you'd consider to be more powerful? You're absolutely right that this is fairly US centric, but that's because the US is a huge aviation market, and it's also a country where unions are allowed.
Is there another flight attendant in another country you know of how is routinely making appearances alongside the country's most powerful leaders?
@ Shark -- Sorry, but what do you consider to be a "hit piece" here? I'm writing about someone who is saying positive things about Isom, balancing those who are saying negative things.

Nelson was a key figure along with Doug Parker in securing the Covid government bailouts for the airlines and airline workers, and she is the head of the largest F/A union. She is obviously the most powerful flight attendant in the world.

I think it’s not article worthy. She’s just doing her job for the FAs of PSA. AA mainline FAs would be wise to get rid of the in-house union APFA and switch to AFA.

If you are promised profit sharing and it works out to only $150 for an entire year, you as an employee begin to wonder where the money is. American is not close to the other major carriers but maybe that's good, holding prices down and not feeding the stake holders wallets and egos.
I've met Sarah and know of her strong work. What ever it is, she knows *exactly* what she's doing.
But Ben u were repeatedly incredulous in your post that anyone would ever praise an airline CEO in regard to these matters. It might be very true that Isom was and has been very sympathetic to the FAs. Your post did come across just a bit like criticizing.
