If you still end up going to PRG, try the Radisson Blu if booking on points. Should be the best available on points.
Or better yet try one of the small boutique hotels in Mala Strana.

Is it just me or do these not seem like bargains, unless you're rich? I'd much rather pay 90k MR (via Aeroplan) than $1800 for such a short flight. I know what the retail price normally is, but I would never pay that either.
To be fair, Ben posted about this this morning but the Points Guy posted about it last night (Chicago Time for me). So those "minutes" would have been many, many hours otherwise...
@Stannis, IMHO depends which US city you're flying from and the dates you're looking to travel. People from the West Coast who are looking to travel during peak travel dates is better off with these flights than those in the Northeast.
I almost booked NYC-LHR next may but hesitated. $1800 for roundtrip business class to europe sounds ridiculously good... but if you think about it, the flights take only 6.5 and 7.5 hours, so it is actually worth it to just tough it out on a $800 economy fare and bring your own food with the leftover money 🙂
Indeed, these deals are best for west coast fliers -- flying LA to London for example, that's a different story.

If there was a huge mistake fare tomorrow, but it was only available for 30 min, where would you go? If you have some idea of places to go in the next year, you can pull the trigger.
Yeah, with a bunch of adults/young adults, it's not so hard to put them on hold and figure it out in 24 hours. With a family, it's really a major pain unless everyone's had every possible discussion and figured out every single contingency and...you get the idea. I seriously don't know how we ever travel anywhere with the amount of discussion each trip takes.
I managed to snag a VS UC fare from the west coast at the $1700 rate. I had another refundable ticket for the same dates on the same flights which I want to refund now. But before I do -- I'm wondering if they'll cancel the ~$1700 Z class tickets as mistake fares?
