Great news indeed. I could have used this last summer when I was having issues with Etihad booking space.
Any word on if availability is still generally decent? I think before there were frequently two seats open per flight for award travel. Is that still the case? I imagine making the award tickets easier to book will increase competition, too.

Wondering how JFK (or any US/Canada gateway) to CMN to Europe will be priced for paying tickets as it substantially increases the mileage/ EQM / EQD earned compared to nonstop flights.

Morocco is still not part of Europe regardless of an award chart. The same restrictions apply the same as to those from any other non EU country. Then the issue of persona non grata would apply to citizens of high risk countries. Personally I think the situation is way still too fluid to think of travel especially overseas.
Royal Air Maroc has been refusing to refund a flight they canceled in April. Their customer service is non-existent. I'd be careful to book any flight with them ever again. Not a good addition to oneworld alliance.
