Any chance you could list all the miles you spent on this trip total -- the fees included -- and where the miles came from? Would be great for us laymen to undercover how you compiled this great trip.

thx for the impressive trip log! Been avid reader since quite recently since travel is up for me ("only" UA 1P + KLM FB Silver + LH FTL).
Question though, however stupid it may be: how do you get those award seats on partner airlines? If you have AA miles and redeem on Qantas, can you do this on the Qantas website, AA website or have to call a specific service of one or the other?

You've got the geo-locations of SYD and MEL messed up in your world map.
Sydney is northeast of Melbourne. In other words, SYD should be up and to the right of MEL, not the way you have it.
Ted, the city labels are just overlapping one another -- I'm pretty sure the actual city locations are correct. Looks like a bug.

@ Ezra -- You have to call the airline with which you're redeeming your miles in order to book an award ticket.
@ Ajay -- I'd like to eventually, though it's not at the top of my list at the moment.
