That's odd it was back on the 763. Did they do a last minute swap? If so there must have been a lot of gate upgrades since the additional F seats would have become available.
How was the experience?
Probably not Prince. He was a first class passengers, sitting in 1A, on a Northwest flight I worked many years ago from MSP to LGA. He never spoke one word to me during the meal service. All two-way communication was through his 'aide'; a stunning blond hunk seated in 1B.
It's a little tacky to put this person's business out there for public consumption.
As much as I am curious to know who it is, please do not reveal his or her name....allow people some privacy!.

IMO, you're being very OVER sensitive.
For starters, it is a celebrity- and while they are certainly entitled to a private life, this isn't a situation where someone is peeking through their windows or combing through their trash to dig up some information on them.
This is someone sharing their observations of something/about someone that occurred IN A PUBLIC SETTING- where even for the unrecognized masses, there is no expectation of privacy.
I'm not seeing the violation that you seemed so concerned about...
That the celebrity in question was gracious and not demanding?
That they were on a plane going from point A to point B?
That they did not no what a mimosa is?
That they didn't want one?

Perhaps they're not American. I hadn't heard of a mimosa before reading this blog. We call it bucks fizz (essentially the same, slightly different ratio).
So surprised that mimosas are an unknown to anyone! Would have thought anyone who has ever gone to brunch almost anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere would have been offered a choice of a mimosa or bloody Mary.. However, learning new info daily myself. Must be a total teetotaler and non West Coast brunch attendee- ha-ha! 🙂
Not the artist formerly and once again known as Prince unless he was sitting on three phone books. Back in the day, it wasn't too rare to fly with stars out of or into LAX on CO. That was when Bob Six was still running the airline and his Hollywood/Beverly Hills pals all flew CO. Now that was an airline. Kinda the Emirates of its day with a lounge on the upper deck of the 747.
OK, let's be clear on a few things.
Blind items are fun and meant to be a guessing game. The celebrity in question was gracious, but I thought it was absolutely hilarious that she (another clue!) had never heard of a mimosa.
She's from a Delta hub city, so she's American. A few people on here have guessed it correctly. And yes, a blind item means finding clues in choices of words, etc. It's fun!
And for the various snarky/British commenters who claim mimosas are uncommon, congratulations, and color me surprised you get internet service at the rock you're living under. Seriously. And it's not even an American cocktail, people! The mimosa is French, and has been adopted worldwide. It's champagne and orange juice -- not rocket science.

Folks, the near-certain giveaway is his use of the word "supremely" before talented because Nick likes to be clever; it's Diana Ross. Also not surprising that someone of her age range might not know what I mimosa is. Many of contemporaries don't.
Wow, a touch sensitive there perhaps, Nick?! 😉 Folk were just stating the fact that in many countries (not just the UK) the term isn't in common usage, whereas in the USA it is a very commonly used term. If the mystery person wasn't American it therefore wouldn't have been such a surprising revelation that they had to ask what it was.
Diana Ross, the dva herself. It is hard to believe she's never had mimosas. Maybe she wasn't full awake. Even though she is from Detroit it is still surprising she flies delta or commercial airlines.

While there is plenty to suggest that you are right- I am have a hard time rapping my head around it because she obviously known to be a Diva and the things I have read about her makes her out to be dismissive and nasty to people.

Yikes! Defensive, much? No need to bring out your inner bitch if not everyone here has heard of something. Equating not knowing about your cocktail of choice with people living under a rock is neither funny nor all that mature. Mimosas appeal to a certain group of people (those a little on the bougie side of life who like to brunch, to be honest), but its ok and understandable if not everyone has. Have to agree that the snarky comment about the British commentators was a bit off. It's interesting how internet boards, even when there isn't complete anonymity,brings out an ugly side of people. Not to mention that it supports a certain bias about Americans that we are culturally insensitive and a bit (or more) oblivious that the rest of the world doesn't live in the 50 states.

@Nick - If you feel the need to defend the article, then go ahead but Adam, Danny and I were not criticising the article! They were taking exception to your YOUR snarky comment and I was pointing out that perhaps it would be best if you didn't jump upon your commenters with such frequency.
I really think you should take another read through the comments to this article. At no point can I see any comment that warranted your anger/frustration and that response (i.e. "the rock that you live under"). Given that the post calling you a "grubby c***" in that other article was never deleted, I doubt that any such offensive/inflammatory posts have been deleted here and therefore really just can't see what has provoked you this time.
Some people obviously appreciate your contribution here but I'm just requesting politely that you should avoid antagonising the readership irrespective of their nationality. As Ben says, nasty comments say more about the poster than the intended target. Unfortunately, on this occasion it looks to me like you're the one making the nasty comments!

The complainers are probably recent arrivals or American college exchange students who've spent their whole lives protected by padded surfaces and trigger warnings.
