Much better! 😉 And, of course, when it comes to wine, be it Champagne or sparkling wine, the most important thing is to drink what one enjoys.

Glad you enjoyed the food as it's a topic of "hot discussion" in FT Chat. Surprised they didn't know how to fix the entertainment system as that plane flies it once a month. Maybe the 763 would have been a better choice. Good report so far.

IMO it took a few trips to figure out how to really operate the AA NGBC seats. I definitely remember an "Aha!" moment on trip 3 or so when I finally figured out how to get something resembling a not-uncomfortable recline for sleeping... I find the controls incredibly counterintuitive but maybe I'm just dumber than the average AA premium cabin pax.

Diet coke with lime 🙂 We really must travel together sometime. Ooops, maybe not. The FA would definitely run out of Diet Coke and lime.

Ye, the AA NGBC are boxy but very comfortable ... once you figure out how to operate them. I prefer NGBC vs. old F in AA three class 762. Old F in 757 are the worst and I sleep better in Y on that airplane.
