Not at all. Bangkok is a bloodbath from Europe, which is why several carriers have left or downgraded frequencies & aircraft size. The ME3 have heaps of flights every day, and I have never paid more than £1300 for business class from Europe to Bangkok.
@Credit - never more than 1300 ¿?? Who are you flying with at that price ?? BKK is a price nightmare from the UK Business class, I'm now having to look from within Europe but you must have some inside info that I don't 🙁
