Are you sure that stopovers are still allowed on partner tickets? I have not been able to get that to work for the last year or so. A silent devaluation as far as I can tell.
Also not sure if you noticed, but Alaska is blocking Condor space to and from the US these days, you can only find the high-priced 200k+ space now.

Yes you can but you have to do it at the initial booking. (Using multi city option) Alaska NO LONGER ALLOWS adding stop overs after the fact. This was the case earlier this year when they “upgraded” their system.

You are absolutely correct. I had to transfer Avios from Iberia to Qatar and Book DOH to SFO for much cheaper. now KUL to DOH is 60K points Atmos.

Oof. Definitely not worth it, unless you really need to top-off. Best way to stack-up a lot of AS points is to use the Alaska Atmos cards (like Summit) to pay for rent/mortgage via BILT platform (earns 3x up to $50K spend, so 150K points possible), especially if working towards the $60K per cardmember year spend to earn 100K Global Certificate. However, you are basically purchasing them at 1 cent each, in that case (better than 1.88).
Paying for rent/mortgage with an Atmos card adds a 3% fee, so you're paying that fee for an extra 2x miles. You're essentially buying for 1.5 cents each, not 1 cent.
I think that depends on whether you have an option to pay the rent/mortgage for 1% rewards with no fee. For mortgages, at least, that's not common so you really are earning at 1 cpp.
Touché on the incremental math for rent, betterbub. If you treat 1x as the 'free' baseline, it’s 1.5¢/point for those extra 2x. Where the equation changes for me is the $60K spend target for the 100K Global Certificate. Since I value that at $1K–$2K (and much higher on premium cabin redemptions), swallowing the 3% fee to clear $50K of that requirement in one go makes total sense for my setup. Different math for different goals.

200,000 points for $3750... not enough for a RT business ticket USA to SE Asia.
You can buy a RT BC ticket for around $4k.
CC miles on purchases are the only 'deal' left.
Buying Atmos points can be worth it even without a 100% bonus offer - I recently booked an AA transatlantic that retailed at almost $6k for 45k points - with the current bonus that's less than $900 - even at twice that it's a fraction of the cash price.

There is actually up to a 120% bonus for me
I got the 120% offer as well. But when I follow the link it takes me to the 80%, 90%, 100% shown on this page. So not sure what is going on. I did clear my cookies as well and still saw only 80% to 100% even though my email specifically says up to 120%.

Will be buying some. Good for AKL-Australia because QF issues a lot of award space on the trans Tasman routes and it’s very low mileage cost. Only problem is that Sydney airport has huge surcharges which sometimes make it dearer than the on sale fares. However a stash of AS miles is essential due to the free cancellation and its points chart. UA is similar but they often don’t have availability I would use as air nz isn’t releasing much award space to UA. Can’t have enough AS miles IMHO. Their booking site and customer support is above average as well.

I doubt it's intentional but this is deceptive marketing and Alaska's email marketing team needs to do a better job
just got the offer last night for 120% bonus. It is bogus. followed the link and no bonus was offered. Alaska needs to get their marketing act together!
