Look's pretty nice, I'd consider routing through YUL on transatlantic AF with that quality of lounge.
Really curious, How are you able to get these shots with no one in the pics? Each time I'm in this lounge it is crowded
Note that despite being a SkyTeam lounge, this lounge is also used by BA, and the last time I flew from YUL it was absolutely rammed to the point where they were turning away OneWorld Sapphires at the door (though they did let in Emeralds), and I ended up standing for about 15 minutes before I could nab a seat.
Naturally I got a somewhat negative impression of the lounge from that experience, though it looks somewhat nicer when empty.
They serve proper champagne in the evenings, and amazingly, Royal Air Maroc even sends their pax there.
The food actually looks like an Air France lounge in Paris, unlike the Air France lounge in Houston or the Air France-KLM lounge in Toronto. Those lounges have prison-quality food.
I flew Turkish Airlines 2 weeks ago from YUL to IST and surprisingly they directed us to use the AF Lounge. Given TK is Star Alliance, I would have thought we would be allocated to the AC Lounge.

I had the same thought! The food reminds me of a Paris AF lounge. Meanwhile, Toronto is grim, all the way around. Their lounges are really weak. I wasn't able to try the food at the Toronto lounge because when we arrived at 6pm they had already shut down for the day.
Nice lounge setup - love the natural light and tarmac views! And any lounge bar that has negroni on the official cocktail list!
This view is not the reality for this lounge for most users. It is usually packed. It is sized for the AF/KLM flights that are out of YUL each evening. The instance of AF to load the lounge up with Priority Pass crap makes it unusable.
Same with the KLM lounge in YYZ.
I’ve been there. I actually liked. Yes, it can get crowded. But, it is better than other options (National Bank lounge is worse).
YUL is my home airport. During the evening when the European flights leave Priority Pass is useless at this lounge because it’s so crowded. Air France has 3 flights to Paris and KLM has one to Amsterdam so their J passengers obviously get priority.
Paris-Montreal is AF's biggest international city pair with up to 5 daily flights in the summer, so it's not surprising that this lounge is pretty good. But as others have noted, in the evening it is absolutely jammed. But to be fair, all the YUL international lounges are completely packed during the evening long haul rush.
I've done that YUL-IST flight before too, and J passengers on Turkish have access to both - the AF lounge is a contract lounge for Turkish, and then you also get access to the AC international lounge as a Star Alliance business passenger. My guess as to the logic is that the International AC lounge at Montreal-Trudeau is *slammed* in the peak hours for the transatlantic bank of flights, and you often have to waitlist to get in even as an AC passenger, so they probably wanted a contract lounge that had more guarantee of use.
