2018 in Montreux to use four free nights from the Chase Fairmont card.
A great redemption.

"Each person can only take advantage of the promotion once"

Does this mean if I took advantage of the sale three years ago, I can't do it again this year? That sure is what it sounds like, just wanted to try and confirm.

Meh. I’d rather book through Amex FH&R for the perks and the 5X points.

The last promotion in Nov21 also had £ denominated gift cards? Have they removed the same from this promotion?

You can buy in every promotion (twice a year) and as I understand, the max amount is tied to each order. So you can use different cards at the same time and buy more.

any idea if these can be used as payment for AMEX FHR or Virtuoso rate if you didn't prepay for the hotel? can't really think of any reason why not but maybe they require you to pay by credit card when booking through those portals

Any idea how the gift cards are coded? Would this stack with current Fairmont Amex offer?

I've had it go both ways with FHR. The first time I was able to pay with GCs and got no pushback, the second time I was told the reservation had to be paid with an Amex card only. Both happened at the same hotel (Fairmont Pacific Rim), so YMMV.

Virtuoso yes 100% and yes to the new ACCOR STEP program that many Virtuoso members are part of. Amex is as another person commented YMMY because you are suppose to pay the entire stay on an Amex card
