Sometimes it’s nice just to smile. And I could make a convincing argument that the below is perhaps a reason to smile. Check out the description of the Sheraton Shenzhen Futian Hotel on Orbitz:
You will be impressed by this hotel before you even set foot in the lobby, even the exterior is gorgeously designed.The Sheraton’s high level of service, location and impressively grand decor make a convincing argument that it is perhaps the ideal choice for a first class stay in this area. The location leaves nothing to be desired – 30 minutes from the nearest airport and directly accessible to the Shenzhens newly remodeled metro.The rooms are the latest word in comfort – from the comfortable beds to the widescreen plasma TV, you can really feel at home here. A tour around the hotel reveals that you have your choice of a wide array of restaurants, bars, lounges, and the business areas are terrific to say the least.If you are familiar with Sheraton then you already know this location is a first class choice.
Thank goodness for hotels that don’t pay for translators!
(Tip of the hat to H.R.)
Perhaps I am missing something since I've been staring at spreadsheets and documents for too long but I don't see major problems with the description. It's not perfect but it conveys their points well.
I actually thought the punchline here is that you helped write it ;-)
No lack of superlatives here; very trip report-esque, yes?
It's a nice hotel. I spent about three weeks there a few years ago.
For description like that, they have paid their translators nicely.
@ Lee - Pardon my mistakes then. I used TripAdvisor :P
@Alvin
The best hotel in Shenzhen should be either Ritz Carleton or Grand Hyatt. Then following InterContinteinal.
Two Shangri-Las are either too antique or too immature.
No experience with Langham.
Both JW Marriott and St.Regis are infamous for their bad health conditions. (Dirty swimming pool, bugs)
It's actually pretty good, you know - it's rated #7 out of Shenzhen hotels, with only Ritz-Carlton, Langham, JW Marriott, Shangri-La, Grand Hyatt and InterContinental beating it (which means it's the top Starwood property in Shenzhen).
LOL. Are you planning to stay there sometime with your H.R. "friend"?
