Gosh, I love the Thai Airways first class ground experience in Bangkok. In my opinion it’s superior to the Lufthansa First Class Terminal in Frankfurt, which is saying quite a bit. I just had an incredible hour-long massage, which has to be the coolest ground service for premium passengers out there. The lounge itself is also on par with the First Class Terminal, in my opinion.
Anyway, I’ve been up since 6AM Hong Kong time and it is approaching 1AM. I’m still jetlagged, am feeling a bit under the weather, and would really love to sleep…. but I can’t! You see, this is why I like business class. If I were flying business class I’d hop on the plane and sleep all 11 hours to Munich. But I’m not in business, I’m in first. That means I need to eat the nine course meal and watch a movie or two before falling asleep. Of course I blame you guys for this, since I’m only eating in order to take pictures that I can share with my lovely readers. 😉
Or maybe I should see how receptive the flight attendants are to a “dine on demand” service.
skip. the. meal.
Thanks for emphasizing the differentiation in experience between First (F) and Business (C/J) class.
Too many times have I listened to Delta/NWA/Continental fliers gloating over their international "first class" experience, when in reality they're flying with the cattle in a 50+ seat cabin.
No MatthewLAX, we will not survive without Lucky's meal pictures! :)
If you are not hungry, I would catch up on your sleep. I think we'll survive without the meal pictures! ;)
We do love the pics, but get some sleep too!
You are so dedicated to your readers...
Maybe you should ask for an inflight massage...
