Per [URL]https://www.spgpromos.com/uber/[/URL], it’s 1 SPG point per $1 spent on Ubers.
In NYC, during weekdays between 7-10am and 5-8pm, all UberPOOLs are $5 flat rates within Manhattan. I purchased one of the 4-week UberPOOL passes in NYC, where I have unlimited $5 flat-rate UberPOOLs during the 4-week period: [URL]https://www.giltcity.com/newyork/ubernycjuly16[/URL]
I have been receiving SPG points for each of these UberPOOL trips that I have made, even though they have been free, and not at the $5 rates (see attached). I imagine Uber calculates how much a normal UberPOOL would have cost (despite being $5 or free to the rider) and then reports that number to SPG. Might be an unintended benefit for UberPOOL riders that linked their SPG accounts.
