Patrick Z New MemberSo I will be flying IAD-LAX in about 10 days.
I have booked a Y class economy seat and have requested a RPU upgrade.
Is it advisable to use the RPU, since PP’s get instant upgrades on full fare tickets Y and B class tickets when there is R availability?

Really depends on how elite heavy that flight is and since IAD is a UA hub, I’d expect there to be a lot of elites.
