I’m trying to help my friends utilize their points. They are getting married at W Hotel and will have at least 300K points, plus I think they will get some additional points based on how many people stay in their room bloc. The problem is, the points won’t post til after the wedding which means they don’t have the ability to reserve or plan travel.
Does this sound correct? Is there anyway to book travel with Marriott now, and pay with points later? Any help and suggestions are appreciated.

Hi, I think Marriott still has their points advance program. So yes, you can book the room now and pay in points later
