Is it time to switch?

I work in the Middle East and with my next flight I will have 207,000 EQM’s for 2016 on AA and believe I now will have maxed out earning Executive Platinum Upgrades.for 2017 with 8. I have at least 3 more trans-Atlantic business class flights planned for 2016. Would you recommend switching my earnings to Alaska, Star Alliance or one of the Middle East (QR, EY) for the remainder of the year or sticking with AA? I already earn a lot of my EQM’s with AA on codeshares with QR. Any advice would be appreciated.

What airline(s) do you fly mostly and what do you want more, elite status or redeemable miles? If its the latter, what are your aspirations for the miles?

If you like to accrue and redeem AA miles, it’s still worth crediting there, especially since youre flying QR.
