How to become a Luxury Travel Advisor

How to become a Luxury Travel Advisor

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Lucky,
I’m interested in getting involved in the Luxury Travel industry. I worked for an airline for 12 plus years but have no experience as a Travel Agent. Do I need training as a Travel Agent first, or can I jump into the Luxury Advisor realm without the years of grunt work?
    Thanks!

Hi Eliza! Send me an email at katie at travel by katie dot come. I made a career switch out of engineering to a Virtuoso last year and can speak well to the process. The short answer is yes, you can jump right in, but there are many ways to do so. Ben (and Tiffany) both know me and can vouch I am not a crazy person. 🙂 I am currently in NZ, so I am a bit slow at times answering emails.
