Your recent article about the Chinese couple is full of salacious “facts”, and laced with libel and/or slander towards American Airlines.
In order to try and get people to their destination in NYC, they were put on a bus as flight was impossible. Once on the bus they were no longer the responsibility of American but of the bus company. The trip was lengthy because of severe weather conditions and the traffic accident she mentions which resulted in the bus turning around, also not American’s responsibility. The bus pulled in to a parking lot so allow people out for food and relief. That the couple and Ms. Kuo, at her suggestion, left the parking lot to go elsewhere is not American’s responsibility. Neither is the tragic accident that sent the couple to the hospital.

Questions about Ms. Kuo’s actions: Why did she leave the couple if she was afraid the bus might leave? When she boarded again, why didn’t she ask the driver how much longer it would be before they departed, and then go back for the couple? Why didn’t she suggest to the driver that the couple’s luggage be removed from the bus so the police could take it?

Yes, the situation was an all around mess, but I sincerely don’t believe any of it was the fault of the airlines. I am not an employee of American Airlines, but I would advise you to remove this article as American Airlines will be aware of it soon and there could be legal repercussions.
