Ben, this isn't really a comment about this story specifically, but more about the general direction of your blog. As a reader for almost five years now, I'm realizing these days I really only want to read a small portion of your posts - those that actually relate directly to your own travel experiences. Business stories like this, or all of your entertainment about weird passenger situations on planes you saw in the news, really aren't your expertise. I understand they may interest you, but to put it rather directly you don't have a lot of useful perspective to add. Large modern corporations really don't work like personality cult reality TV (Qatar potentially aside). People like Brett Snyder are a little better with the business issues, or honestly even the mainstream financial press. And Across tens of thousands of flights around the world each day, weird things are going to happen....hopefully most of us have more to do with our time.
Anyway just had to leave this comment. I'll keep reading the trip reports, but probably am taking this off my RSS reader as I don't need all this other filler.
