I'm sure it will be great, but I know many people who were regulars of Rosa Alpina and they are all very bummed that it was taken over by Aman. Here's to hoping they kept the charm of it. The hotel definitely needed a refresh, though.

While it is logical and welcome that luxury brands finally discover and exploit these wonderful yet less mainstream locations throughout Italy, I fear, not alone, that the arrival of brands (and pricing) like Aman in the Dolomites will also destroy the buying power of Italians and their families when it comes to affording a summer or winter holiday
Until today, a few days stay in the dolomites at a 4-star including meals can be well under 1000 euros for a double occupancy. A few more years or less and pricing will be aligned with Courchevel or Park City
Very disappointed that the 3-star restaurant won’t be reopening! Aman seems to actively shy away from Michelin spots in their hotels. I can’t think of a single Aman that has one. Do they want to discourage outside guests?
They actually do discourage outside guests. I wanted to go to the Italian restaurant in the Aman New York and it's only open to "guests and club members". Also, most Aman resorts are not really close to anything else.
