These BOGOs and other promotions, Blue Friday and Valentine’s day, are excellent. Have flown La Compagnie from EWR to ORY and MXP. Beautiful a321neos. (They have 2, expecting a third soon.) All business, 2-2, lie-flat. Good quality lounges at EWR, ORY, MXP, too. NCE is seasonal; hope to try it next year. Highly recommend, generally. If you can get $1K/person/way, that’s really good value for lie-flat TATL. Honestly, I wish there were more airlines like it. Huge fan.
I remember when all business startups Maxjet and Silverjet were around in the 2000s and Maxjet would have sales for JFK-Stanstead for $1000 RT. Those were the days.
Not impressed by the hard product. No direct isle access for windows seats. No matress pad. And not a spectacular price also.
I rather pay a little more and fly Air France with a much better BC product.
Every time I've flown LaCompagnie I've had the seat next to me empty, so the hard product has been a great experience. The padding and seat comfort itself is fantastic. They have also improved their food significantly. My favorite part is the private feel of the cabin and how boarding finishes within five minutes, so in my opinion are a great value.
Probably the ideal flight for couples. These days most business class products are very focused on privacy, it doesn't make for a good group experience.
Not a great airline. Middling lounges at ORY. Frequent delays (they have a small fleet). Indifferent service and food.
That’s a shame you feel that way; they have those two lounges at ORY (one you pay extra for). I didn’t think it was bad at all (nice views of the airport actually.)
As for fleet, yeah, just two, but they’re expecting a third soon! Bah.
As to delays, haven’t experienced anything significant with them yet, but thankfully they are EU261 compensation eligible, so at least you’d get paid if they screw up.
Interesting option, though the seating doesn't look very compelling. Like prem economy with privacy screens.
For that level of crowding, seems like French Bee's front cabin would be a better value (similar minus the privacy dividers), probably for half the price. Downside is flying out of EWR's gross oldest terminal, but for saving $1200, I'd do that...
