Duringmy Four Seasons Yacht via Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia adventure, I had a very long layover at Delhi Airport (DEL), prior to my Air India 777 first class flight. This allowed me to check out several lounges, including the new Air India Maharaja Lounge, which opened in early 2026.

Is there a reason this lounge didn't make the list of the world's best business class lounges?

I’d reckon he forgot to include this in his list because it was a much more recent experience. This place has the beating of the Virgin Clubhouse LHR, I suppose!

As I mentioned previously on the Encalm Xenia review, you really need to try Air India domestic lounge in BLR. It is the best airline domestic lounge in the world

It’s really giving SKL T3 vibes, and for AI, that’s an absolute positive.

The one positive about this lounge was even during peaks hours was not overcrowded unlike say the Turkish Business Class Lounge at IST which resembles evening market in Dhaka.

Also they have two live cooking stations one for vegetarian food and other for non-vegetarian food.

I really think this was a massive step up from Enclam Prive lounge which is such overcrowded at those late night peak hours.

Wow, impressive. Love the bar and globetrotter area. Showers great, too. Thanks Lucky!
