Of all the Amex 'dining' credits, this one may be the easiest to use; it's just a straightforward $25 statement credit each month on anything dining (I'm sure there are caveats, but I haven't noticed.) Unlike the other cards, which have the Resy credits (Platinum, Gold, Delta Reserve, etc.), this is one benefit of the Amex Brilliant that actually keeps it simple stoopid. (That said, still miff'd about Marriotts devaluations and the 85K certificate diminishing in value over time and the games played by aspirational properties to start awards at 111K to avoid folks using their certificates there...)
This dining credit is too simple, must be due a nerfing.
I would not be surprised if they rise the fee to $695, and offset it by enhancing the dining credit to $30 per month for use at RESY only.
