Excited to position out to CMH for some sweet Allegris awards 🙂
Great news for the Columbus area which is booming. This route definitely wasn't on my bingo card.
Only poor people fly commercial. I've enjoyed flying all over the state in my private jet over the last few months, and if I was going to Frankfurt, you can bet that's the only way I'd go.
534 years later, Columbus crosses the Atlantic again.
Ben, your bit about existing international service at CMH is out-of-date. Air Canada flies YYZ year-round, and to Montreal seasonally. CUN is additionally flown by AA and Southwest seasonally. And Breeze is about to add PUJ in the winter as well.
It does use taxpayer money. The corporate parent to JobsOhio has a MONOPOLY on liquor sales in Ohio.
Always a pleasure, Ben!
Why not offer Lufthansa money to fly a 7th freedom flight, Columbus to Riyadh?
I don't think it's a coincidence that on 2nd October Bayer Pharmaceuticals announced a new $2,2 Billion Production factory in New Albany Ohio. There may actually be some foreseeable premium seats on the route.
