trying to book Istanbul IC and its available using points at 56000, but will not allow use of the Chase Free night cert +16000. Called IHG customer care and they couldn't explain why other than they would ask hotel. It appears this hotel has blocked the use of the free night certificate across all dates. Has anyone see this happen before and is it allowed?( I understand many hotels make up their own rules !!) Thoughts/ suggestions?
