@ Lucky I have a question...have you ever stayed at a hotel during it's grand opening? If not do you think it's a good idea stay during that time? I have a trip coming up to Dubai and I'm think of staying at a Holiday Inn Festival City which is opening up April 19
@Alex Z.. I’m not answering for @Lucky but these are my own thoughts..
I generally don’t like hotels that are ‘too new’ and only because very often, they’re bath towels haven’t been ‘run in’ yet and can be quite unbearable to use.. they don’t absorb water and have a lot of ‘fluff’ that comes off and sticks to your body..
If the particular new hotel knows this and takes care of it by wash-cycling their towels several times before opening their doors then that’s fine.. but that’s added costs and ‘environmentally unfriendly’ to do, so.....
@ Ke...thanks for the response and I totally get your point but I think if that's the worse of it I can deal with that. If it's anything like getting into a brand new car than I think I will enjoy it
