Made my first purchase for $1003 and see 1003 points posted to my account. Do the 80k bonus points post separately or do you think I have an issue? Thanks
I have 2 questions:
1) Any idea about transfer times to airline programs?
2) Can you say anything about when this signup bonus ends? I understand that you may not be able to, in which case a "no comment" would work.
@ Evan -- In my experience it takes a few days for the 80K bonus points to post, while everything else seems to be nearly instant.
@ Christian -- Brex's website suggests the shortest transfer time for any partner is "up to" one day, while the longest transfer time for any partner is "up to" nine days. Those are the maximum stated times. For example, I just transfered some points to Emirates, and those showed up in my account instantly. I'd expect that's the case with most partners.
I honestly don't know when the offer ends (and that's not me withholding any information, it's the truth). I'd feel comfortable saying the offer will almost certainly be around for a couple more weeks, but anything beyond that is anyone's guess.
How long are you required to keep the bred cash account open? Usually credit cards require 1 year holding period, otherwise the bonus might be clawed back. What's the situation with the brex cash account?
I signed up - used my S-Corp, then the site said additional verification was required. This was nearly a week ago. Never heard back from them ... I don't have a warm fuzzy
Not a good deal. Only airlines are partners and just one from each major alliance for 1:1 point transfer. If cash or gift cards, then the value is $1/100 points. If they had some of the hotel groups or more airlines to choose from then this may be better.
@ iamhere -- Is there another no-fee business account that has a more lucrative structure or is offering an equivalent bonus?
Just because an offer doesn't appeal to you/your circumstances doesn't mean it isn't a great deal for others.
