"Bulkhead seats have larger footwells"
Just some constructive criticism, but might be good to show us pics of bulkhead and non-bulkhead footwells, just so people reading can see the difference and decide if that difference will affect their choice or not.
Perhaps add that if you are a solo traveler, and if A/K and B/J are not available, then “E” and “F” seats are better than the honeymoon seats.
On my recent EK flight, only middle of the plane seats were available because I upgraded at check in.
While I like sitting on a "mini cabin" in general that don't usually go the same whenever I fly an A380 in upper deck premium cabin to the countries where immigration takes a long time (like the US), I avoid selecting seats in the rear cabin (which is usually smaller). If you're seated there, there're very high chances that you'll end up with de-planing later than some of economy class passengers.
Although it's a totally different story if I'm flying economy and there's a economy cabin on the upper deck. Way nicer there than the main deck in general.
Wife and me have flow 23A,K 4x recently and these are always our first choice. Very private and noise has never been an issue
I had a terrible plane first time in 76 years ive gone on 380 business class.and that put me off for life not that I have long to go.i wish the ow er of the 380 could refund me OR give me a first class seat
One of the greatest airlines in the world, I mean the service, the pricing, the amenities look at everything. Emirates does everything right.
23A and 23K every time if available. I must admit on a day flight more foot traffic to the bar but fine on a night flight. Met a friend on one flight who was seated near the front and it was far less turbulent than where I was sitting but that happens on any flight when seated near the rear of an aircraft.
As a mechanical engineer I am always intrigued at the amount of ‘floor flexing’ on the upper deck. Not so noticeable when sitting upright but a little like a mild trampoline ride when in ’zzz’ mode on overnight flights.
I am heading to EUROPE and look forward to flyng with Emirates again this year.
A380 is the best.
recently flew LHR - DXB - LHR. once the check in was open, i contacted them and they placed a request with airport staff so was allocated 7K on my way there and back. please note these are basinett seats and unavailable until allocated when check in opens.
flying again same route and currently have 23K. deliberating whether i go for 9K for now as it is more towards the front?
The CMF is certainly getting long in the tooth. A refresh would be nice.
People 6 ft and more should consider B and J over A and K if they want window seats without bumping their head every time
Certainly prefer the front of EK's J cabin on a380, but it is kind of a long walk to the lavatories in the back. Agreed that those in row 26 (or whatever is last) are basically bar-keeps. Still, would rather have a lie-flat seat than be in Y (like last row 87, middle-middle, yikes).

If traveling with someone, I’d probably select the honeymoon seats, which would be in odd numbered rows
I’d then select the “B” and “J” seats over the “D” and “G” seats
Good god, this is the tackiest interior…. I mean i’ve always known it was, but all of Ben’s photos just bring it into full light. I don’t know how people do this and think this is a luxury airline. I don’t think I could sleep well with all that plastic Burlwood whispering 1990s in my ear.
This design screams Air India, and it is a shame that they have not updated their fleet faster
