Ugh. I normally like Luvo products, but those snack boxes are pitiful. On LAX-SFO I got one that at least included hummus, but on the return it was replaced by something that tasted like mayo. Every passenger receives the same identical box, and there's no snack basket in F. I asked if the FA had something to get that awful dip taste out of my mouth, and she was able to sneak me a bag of pretzels (aka the ones that are normally free on every flight). Just a very odd food offering IMHO.
Agreed on the snackboxes. Also, the idea this is an hourly shuttle is laughable - the SFO-LAX one is always - ALWAYS - delayed at the slightest hint of bad weather - which at SFO is often.
Complimentary newspapers
Passenger: Complimentary what?
FA: A newspaper, sir. They take part of a web site and print it out on special big sheets of paper.
Passenger: Why would I want that?
@ MaryE -- Yes, Delta Shuttle flights are no different than any other Delta flight for mileage purposes.

Those are both good names for a Big 4 "shuttle service" doomed to fail.
Lokks like that Delta focused on what matters most (experience, with the all-important free food and beverage) vs. the gimmycky (having frequencies spaced out exactly throughout the day), which is of no use to the majority who will be taking morning and late afternoon flights.
