Unless you've been living under a rock for the past two months, you probably know that there's a good signup bonus on the Citi Prestige credit card. I actually got this card back in the fall primarily because I wanted a Priority Pass™ membership to use during our Southeast Asian Adventure. Although the signup bonus…

Flying DL out of Newark in a couple of weeks. Also have Priority Pass - is this a better option than the skyclub post-security in the DL terminal? Have pre-check so hopefully being pre-security wont be an issue.

Does that also mean that I'd have to clear immigration if I'm having an int'l-int'l connection?

Great review. Do you need to present a boarding pass to enter?

I visit this lounge often. They don't start serving hot food until 6:30 PM, until then it's just sandwiches and chips. It gets crowded in the mornings because El Al uses the lounge. Throughout the day it is quiet until around 7:30PM when La Compagne rolls in. There is a good chance they won't let you in with Priority Pass on Saturday after 5PM because El Al has a Saturday night flight as does La Compagne so there normally will be no room to sit anywhere. It's an overall reasonable lounge at EWR

@Abdel Rahim Abdallah

In US airports immigration is only cleared when arriving, outbound flights only have to clear TSA security.

Alex -- I haven't been in a DL club in years, so I can't really compare.

Jams -- With Priority Pass, I don't think you technically need a boarding pass for entry. Are you thinking of stopping by each night for dinner? 🙂

@ James & Travis
They don't require a boarding pass for entry. They just ask when you're flight is leaving since they don't make announcements. I've told them I'm there to meet someone and they let me in. As long as your Priority Pass swipes and the lounge isn't reserved you're good to go.

I was there Thurday night between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. There was no hot food or sandwiches even. Just salad, soup, and some cookies. I heard the lounge attendants saying to one another that they wish they had more food to serve ... So maybe management is trying to skimp on costs here??

How long is the train ride between terminals C and B? I'm connecting from an international to a domestic flight, both on United, and was thinking about checking out this lounge since I have Priority Pass.

I'm flying out of terminal B in a couple of months. This lounge is located BEFORE security? What's the point of that? So the gate is long ways away from this lounge I assume?

Sat in the Lounge writing this. Worst lounge I've used. Food is terrible. Hot food is greasy and tasteless. Cheese is worse. Noisy because it's busy. Seats are OK. Very bright lighting.

I'm a La Compagine customer and I'm sitting in the lounge now. It's awful. I can only imagine the positive comments in the above post were made when the lounge had just opened.
The carpet is heavily marked and stained. The staff are awful - unresponsive, surly and silent. Not the positive customer service oriented attitude one would expect.
The food is laughable. Worse than school dinners and all self-served on a plate the size of a large cookie.
At least the room's colour palette is calming. la Compagnie have chosen very badly at Newark.
