Chase and IHG have three co-branded credit cards currently open to new applicants. There’s often confusion about who is eligible for these cards (based on which cards you currently have), so in this post, I want to cover the basics of what you need to know to get approved for these cards.

Note to those OGs that still have the old Chase IHG with the $49 annual fee, I was denied this card with the reason being that I already have a similar card.

Did you close it? I just requested to close my IHG Premier in order to churn it since it has been >24 months since I last received the SUB.

So I cancelled the Traveler card last week am with the intention of applying for the Premier card soon. Then the next day they upped the Premier sub to 175k. Do I need to wait 30 days to apply for the Premier? I'd like to not miss the increased sub opportunity.
