Amex Business Platinum Adds $200 Annual Hilton Credit

Another coupon for the coupon book. If it was simply $200 per year you could actually good value by just staying one night.

Also, anyone know if this would work for charges other than room stays, such as spa or restaurant purchases? Could then pop in to a local Hilton and get $50 of value without staying overnight.

I noticed that it asks for your account number when signing up. Do you think the credit will only be applied if this specific account number is used? For example, in the past, my wife and I have split the charges for a stay between our cards, or I’ve allowed my parents to use my card, and we still received our credits. When I enrolled in this Hilton option with my Amex Biz Platinum, which requested the Hilton Honors account number, I wasn’t sure if it would only apply credits to charges made from that account.

Lucky, my guess is that this is actually what is replacing the Dell benefit, which is still showing to end December 31, 2024.

If that's the case, this is a net negative for most cardholders, since it was pretty easy (as a business, especially) to take advantage of the Dell credit.

So, another devaluation :-/.

I have used it to get breakfast at a Hilton next to where I live and gotten the credit for it.

Anybody know whether this would apply to bookings made through American Express FHR?

I have the Hilton Business card and I can verify that on that card buying gift certificates will trigger the quarterly Hilton credit. Unsure if that works for this new Biz Platinum credit.

When enrolling in Hilton for Business, the form asks for an email domain name. Anyone have a workaround for those of us without one? Thanks.

the domain name is everything after the @ of your email. I think they are assuming you're using your business email address. I don't know why they wouldn't just ask for the email address and not confuse people.

Can anyone help me? I don't have a business website and it won't except all the domain sites I tried using: Apple's iCloud and me: gmail, comcast. Any suggestions? I have a business partnership but it's just my wife and me. Thanks.

appears you need to have your own domain name, if you don'y have your own domain I don't think you can sign up, pretty deceitful to say "$200 credit"

For the Gold we just transfer $7/month onto the Duncan Donauts App and get the credit

I think needing you own domain name will mean most won't get this, I am a franchisee but we don't use the franchisor domain for emails addresses

I have my own domain for a "side business" , not my primary business. As a franchisee we don't use the franchisors domain for email,but it seems clear they won't offer without it, even with everything entered all I get is "Something went wrong. Try again later"

This sucks. I don't use hotels much so it would have been bad enough to have a single $200 credit to use any time during the year, but to have to stay in a Hilton every quarter? I will not get value from this dumb credit. Once Chase and Capital One get more lounges built I'm probably done with AmEx.
