Even more concerning if the TCAS system stayed quiet while proximity limits were breached. Would be quite startling to have something that close with no advance alert.
White Sands Missile Range normally would close the airspace if they were testing. Perhaps they had something going on.....

Moreso the information is on main stream news now. So its up to the individual if they wish to be like an ostrich and keep their head hiding in the sand.
