Meh I'd rather get the items tax free from B&H. Just converted to MacBook and got the new M5 15" Air 24gb ram delivered via 2 day shipping for $1250. Costco was $1600. Had to sign up for their card to get the tax free purchase but it's a lot since my taxes in CA are 10.5%. No redemption will come closer to 10.5%

Except that you're still supposed to pay sales tax (technically use tax) on the purchase when you file your California state income tax.

B&H pays the sales tax. However, they provide a rebate in the same amount.

This is less of a portal and more of a branded reseller. It's not direct from Apple so you're losing benefits from buying from them like returns, customization and the ability to use gift cards.
