Since I’m in NY for the weekend, I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to see the wreckage of US1549. My friend Steven was nice enough to pick me up at the airport on Saturday, and since he was interested in seeing the wreckage as well, we drove down to the Hudson, since the plane was supposed to be removed from the water around 10AM on Saturday.
Little did we know that there would be hundreds of people with the same idea, which made both parking and seeing anything worthwhile near impossible. The area was blocked off and filled with cops, and since they weren’t working on removing the plane yet, it was near impossible to see. Here are the four (nearly worthless) pictures I snapped.
