Whew, no 36C for me on the San Francisco to New York redeye. Instead I enjoyed the relative comforts of 11A. Interestingly enough, almost everyone waitlisted for an upgrade cleared for the flights in both directions, because they bumped up a handful of people from business to first class because coach was overbooked, making more room for coach to business class upgrades.
So, I got the upgrade….
