My wife and I live in the Caribbean. We have local island credit cards (AA Advantage VISA) but would like to get in the higher points cards. Do you need to be a US pr Canadian citizen? How do you apply as an international holder?

Thanks for you help with this matter.. love this blog and we’re trying to leverage our flying in order to accumulate miles and points.

    Thanks a million!

You need to have an SSN or a US ITIN and financial history in the US to apply for US cards.
