Citi TYP and AA Revenue-based Earning

Citi TYP and AA Revenue-based Earning

  1. Anonymous Guest

Ben, I haven’t seen any talk about how AA’s revenue based earnings will impact tickets purchased with ThankYou Points. I have a trip coming up in October to PVG that I purchased with TYP, yet when I view the receipt on AA, it shows a fare basis of $0.00. This has me seriously concerned, as the total should be around $850 per person. I know I can credit this to my Mileage Plan account, but these miles would help requaliying for EXP too.

Matt tickets booked with TY/UR points etc are usually the same as cash tickets so I would expect to see full credit for them. Wonder if it is a travel agency payment so it shows up at zero. @Tiffany @Lucky any idea?
