Airplane Ear

Airplane Ear

    Hello Lucky,

I’m regular visitor of OMAAT, and log on multiple times a day. Recently, I have had multiple flights between India and New Zealand and I seem to have witnessed Airplane ear specifically on Air NZ Dreamliners.

As a frequent Aur traveller, how did you manage to stay comfy while landing in Dreamliners?

I struggle so much with this, and agree that 787s and the upper deck of the A380 seem to be the worst of the wide-bodies.

Your best option is probably to check with your primary care physician, or an ENT. My sensitivity is apparently exacerbated by a mix of allergies and other inflammatory concerns, so I have a concoction of sprays and occasional pills that I use depending on the duration of the flight. Definitely worth getting it checked out.
