Save At Radisson Hotels With Amex Offers

For those of you not familiar with Amex Offers, it’s a program available through most Amex cards, where different cards are eligible for different savings and bonus offers. In many cases, the offers can be huge, and more than offset the annual fee on a card.

To view Amex Offers, go to the bottom of the account summary page of any American Express card, where you’ll see all the offers you’re eligible for. These offers come in different forms, including discounts and even in some cases bonus points.

We somewhat frequently see Amex Offers for discounts on hotel stays. Well, a new such offer has just launched, and it’s for a hotel group where I don’t recall seeing an Amex Offers deal before.

Save $20 when you spend $100+ with Radisson

At the moment there’s a new targeted Amex Offer for $20 back when you spend $100+ at select Radisson properties:

• This is valid for stays in the US and US territories
• This is valid for stays through December 31, 2020
• This is valid for stays at the following brands: Radisson, Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Park Inn by Radisson, Park Plaza, and any additional Radisson Hotels branded properties

Do be aware of the following terms:

• You have to book directly with Radisson (by phone, through Radisson’s website, or mobile app)
• Not valid on amenities or the purchase of Radisson Rewards points
• You just have to spend $100+ cumulatively, so you could spend that across multiple stays; taxes and fees should even count towards that total

As you’d expect, you can earn Radisson Rewards points for these bookings as well, and take advantage of virtually any other promotions in conjunction with this.

Radisson offering 5K bonus points per stay

This Amex Offers deal can be stacked with Radisson’s current global promotion, offering 5,000 bonus points for every stay (up to 150,000 bonus points) through December 31, 2020.

Personally I value Radisson Rewards points at ~0.3 cents each, so to me that’s like an incremental $15 return per stay. For a short stay that could be quite good, especially when you consider it’s in addition to the rewards you usually earn.

Bottom Line

This new Amex Offers deal can save you 20% on the cost of an upcoming stay at a US Radisson property. Ideally you’d see this offer on The American Express® Green Card, which offers 3x Membership Rewards points on travel, including hotels. That way you can maximize your points, and this discount.
