Zero Waste flights
Dear Team,
First of all, many thanks for your incredible website. I visit it every day and generally enjoy much of the coverage.
Now, I found myself wondering a BIG question : why didn’t I see any article on those two flights on the blog ?

I think it is an important topic to cover, since waste on airplanes is something I find myself increasingly uncomfortable with. Now, I am no saint when it comes to recycling and waste, and I am certainly a hypocrite being “ecolo-evangelist” about it. But I think that for an industry that is increasingly criticized for its ecological impact, mainly in Europe where I come from, I think it is important to adress those issues on a blog such as this one.
Your friends at Simple Flying recently did an article on wether flight between London/Amsterdam/Paris/Brussels are worth it vis-à-vis the train or the bus. And if flights between those cities should simply be eliminated (BRU-AMS for example, makes no sense to me).
I think you are ignoring a big chunk of aviation news by not adressing reflexion around the more pragmatic aspects, and your competition might see an opening.
OMAAT remains my favourite aviation blog, and I know the core business is Trip Reviews & Points. But don’t forget the issues and challenges the industry is facing.
Keep up the good work ! Cheers !
