One way flights
Hi
I really need to book a one way flight – New York to London. But all one way flights are very expensive and often more expensive than return flights.
Is there any way of getting sensibly priced one way flight, or do I need to book a return without intending on using the return?
If this is the case, why are one way flights so expensive?
Thanks!
Matt
I know that one way flights are more expensive a lot of the time but I dont know exactly why.
When are you traveling and what have you look at so far? You can set alerts on Google Flights. Also, Norwegian might be a good option
I need to travel around the 30 December. Thanks for the heads up about google alerts.
Norwegian has come up, plus others like Wow Air which aren’t too expensive. The problem is, a return with the likes of BA, Virgin, Delta is only really about $100 extra.
So I may have to buy a return with the hope of using it.
I normally book with miles for one way flights if possible.
